The King County Library System includes 44 public libraries serving 1.7 million residents across a 2131 square mile area. If you're looking for a library story, we have several ready-to-go stories you may use to promote KCLS within our service area.
Chances are that most of these features can be easily tailored to the community you cover. If you'd like to add information that is specific to your circulation area, listeners or viewers, contact KCLS PR Specialist Marsha Iverson, 425.369.3277 for assistance.

Public libraries offer valuable resources to students of all ages, generally free. In addition to reference materials, books, computer classes and workstations, the King County Library System also offers students help with assignments in person and online. Check with your community library to discover the resources available to students in your area, or visit kcls.org to learn what's available at KCLS community libraries.
Though the financial sky may be falling around you, parenting remains a full-time job. Your kids still want your time and attention, need help with their homework, and crave something to do in their spare time. And you still need to put food on the table, keep up with the chores, and perhaps find a new job, too. Your neighborhood public library may be exactly what you need.
